The robot called "solarROBOT pro" was developed on the basis of 13 years of experience in the field of automated cleaning of façades, glass roofs and solar installations, and comes to the customer with both sophisticated and particularly innovative technology. Similar to its little brother - the "solarROBOT compact" - the device is easy to dismantle and can of course also be conveniently placed "as a whole" on the cleaning surface using a crane point.

In addition to the robust chassis with replaceable batteries, the solarROBOT pro is based on two drive units that can be easily connected. For wet cleaning, these drive units rely on hyCLEANER technology, which has been known for years, and correspondingly on leather belts, which maintain contact with the panel.) for optimum grip up to an incline of 25° (surface condition must always be taken into account). With a view to occupational safety, we also recommend pre-cleaning the robot's installation surface manually so that the appliance is already standing on a clean surface.Alternative belts made of neoprene (for dry cleaning) or rubber (particularly recommended for fattening houses and high ammonia loads) are also available as accessories.

For use on open-air systems, the solarROBOT pro can also be used at an angle of inclination of up to 45° with the optional side guide. This is another advantage of this unique machine.

Two 1,100 mm roller brushes in the usual quality ensure that the surfaces are cleaned twice in one pass. Both brush bodies can also be easily attached and have an integrated splash guard.
Brushes with a width of 1,300 mm are also available as accessories if required.

With the optimum travel speed of approx. 1 km/h, the basic version of the solarROBOT pro can achieve an area performance of up to 1,100 m² per hour as long as the brushes are mounted in parallel. For special applications, the brushes can also easily be arranged in a staggered arrangement. For this purpose, the appropriate attachment for the staggered arrangement from the accessories is required twice, whereby the working width can be extended to up to 2,400 mm and the cleaning performance to up to 2,400 m² per hour (when using the 1,300 mm brushes).At the same time, of course, "double" cleaning is no longer guaranteed over the entire width, but this is negligible for light soiling and regular cleaning.

The device is operated via a professional remote control and radio system, as known from crane control. This can be used to set and control parameters such as "direction", "brush rotation speed" and also the travel speed. The solarROBOT pro comes with a comfort package called "edge detection incl. auto-drive" as standard. The special edge detection function causes the solarROBOT pro to stop automatically as soon as the machine approaches the edge of the respective solar surface, even if the operator continues to press the "Drive forward" joystick. The solarROBOT pro can then either be driven out of the danger zone or, alternatively, light obstacles such as maintenance walkways can be overridden.The built-in "Auto-Drive" can be compared to the cruise control of a car and moves the machine evenly and in the direction of travel over the panels until a crash edge is detected, without the operator having to take action or operate the controls.

The two built-in rechargeable batteries included in the scope of delivery supply the cleaning machine with energy for approx. 1.5-2 hours.Two additional batteries ensure smooth operation throughout the day, as the spare batteries can always be conveniently recharged in the included charging station - in a practical carrying case with extra gadgets such as a USB port for charging cell phones and an emergency radio.

A s a water supply, 400 liters of clean water per hour are usually sufficient for the manoeuvrable device for large areas.
Certain applications may require the use of 400-600 liters of clean water per hour.
