Description
OSMOBIL HOTBOX pure water heating for GLASS PV and FASSADE is the mobile solution to generate an additional plus in cleaning performance for chemical-free osmosis cleaning!
Most people know from practical experience or according to the Sinner's Circle that warm water can generally achieve a better cleaning performance. From our point of view, it is important that the water is "warm" and not "hot". But more on this later.
In order to ensure the best compromise between cleaning performance, work safety, acquisition costs and "machine size", we have worked with our partner "PUREWASH" for several years on the perfect setup to take osmosis cleaning to the next level!
Unlike the existing systems on the market, the OSMOBIL HOTBOX is small, compact and mobile, thus eliminating a major disadvantage that all other systems on the market have, which are large, heavy and permanently installed: Due to the sometimes very long lengths of hose from the tank or from the osmosis system to the work site, there has always been a sometimes immense deviation between the output temperature of the heater and what actually arrives at the washing brush. If, for example, a 75 meter long hose lies on an almost frozen floor in 3° cold ambient air, it is clear that a lot of heat is lost "on the way". Many manufacturers have compensated for this with larger instantaneous water heaters, e.g. with a heating capacity of 9 or even 11 kW, which has made the appliances large and expensive. At the same time, this extreme output also has disadvantages, especially in summer (warm environment), as it often results in excessively hot temperatures. We will explain later what this can lead to.
Our system is therefore designed to be mobile and can be taken to the actual cleaning location - especially in cold ambient temperatures! This eliminates the greatest influence on the temperature increase to be achieved: the hose length!
In warmer conditions, the machine can of course remain on or in the vehicle or on the osmosis system.
We are also convinced that heating the water increases the cleaning effect.
Nevertheless, temperatures of over 60° C on the washing brush can pose a safety risk for the material (hoses, bristles, seals), the windows, the window seals and, last but not least, the employee. In order to avoid cracked windows and to prevent brushes and hoses from being changed when working with clean water, we have set ourselves a maximum temperature of 60 degrees, which can be achieved in everyday life and with proper use.
In contrast to existing instantaneous water heaters, it is deliberately not possible to achieve 70, 80 or even 90 degrees with water volumes of more than 100 liters per hour - which I need at least for glass cleaning anyway - and it is also not necessary with regard to the mobility mentioned at the beginning!
As with all heaters, the input temperature and the flow rate are always decisive for the output achieved in the heater. At an inlet temperature of 12 degrees, the OSMOBIL HOTBOX achieves the following temperature increase depending on the flow rate:
150 liters per hour: + 30°
120 liters per hour: + 36°
100 liters per hour: + 43°
It is important to note that the system requires at least 100 liters of pure water per hour in order to work properly!
Of course, quantities of over 150 liters per hour can also be introduced. However, these then receive a significantly lower temperature plus!
As the machine is designed for intensive or basic cleaning of glass, PV and façades for one person with classic, rigid brushes, our practical experience shows that this is more than sufficient performance.
The OSMOBIL HOTBOX has a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged with the charger included in the scope of delivery and operates the machine for 8-12 hours. A practical 3-stage display always shows the battery charge level.
The device is powered by diesel. Consumption is a very economical 0.6 liters per hour.
The built-in tank holds approx. 8 liters of fuel.
The machine is simply switched on at the push of a button on the "On" switch.
The rest happens fully automatically as long as there is fuel in the tank and the built-in battery has enough power to operate the fan and the fuel pump.
The machine comes with 1/2" external threads at the inlet and outlet and can be fitted with all standard couplings.
