Why the OSMOBIL MAX is a game changer
Until now, supplying large solar robots with sufficient water has often been a challenge. In the past, a "double pack" of two smaller systems or large buffer tanks was often used, but this was unwieldy and inefficient.
- 750 liters of pure water per hour: with this nominal capacity, the system supplies enough water to feed even large robots directly.
- Standard 230V connection: The system does not require a high-voltage current, which greatly increases flexibility on the construction site.
- Direct connection instead of buffers: If the water tap on site supplies sufficient pre-pressure, work can be carried out without an intermediate tank, which significantly reduces the set-up time.
Power that reaches the top
A critical point during cleaning is the pressure loss over long hose sections and meters in height. On the construction site, work was carried out at a height of around 8 to 9 meters with a total of over 50 meters of hose.
Despite the delivery height and hose lengths, almost 500 liters per hour still reached the robot. This high flushing capacity is crucial for cleaning efficiency, as the water effectively removes the loosened dirt - especially on shallower roof pitches.
The solarRobot pro: Intelligent and fast
The solarRobot pro shows its strengths on the roof. Even if a system appears clean from a distance, a closer look often reveals lichen formation and yellowing. After three years without cleaning, it was high time it was used.
Highlights in operation:
- Safe edge detection: thanks to integrated sensors, the robot stops automatically at the edges. This enables safe working, even if the operator cannot see the outer chain perfectly from the ground.
- Maximum travel speed: Thanks to the high water volume of the OSMOBIL MAX, the robot can travel at maximum speed without neglecting thorough rinsing.
- Chemical-free cleaning: The system consistently relies on mechanical brush power and demineralized pure water.
