The new OSMOBIL MAX in a practical test: More power, smarter technology

In a recent practical test directly from a construction site, the new OSMOBIL MAX was presented cleaning slats under real conditions. The device is a new development in the 750-liter class that has been specially designed for professional requirements

Maximum performance for demanding tasks

The OSMOBIL MAX offers a nominal capacity of 750 liters of clean water per hour, with peak values of up to 900 liters even being achieved in tests This high capacity is particularly important for PV cleaning, as large cleaning robots such as the Solar Robot Pro or the Solatex W often require more than 600 liters per hour. The device was developed to exceed this capacity limit with ease.

Intelligence meets reliability

A central feature is the permanently speed-controlled pump, which is operated via a standard 230-volt connection despite its high output. This pump is "smart" and offers the following advantages:

  • It automatically detects when the water supply is interrupted and switches itself off.
  • When the water flow is restored, it automatically resumes operation.
  • The machine regulates itself if the water supply fluctuates at the point of use, preventing damage to the components.

Entering the digital world: the OSMOBIL Cloud

The OSMOBIL MAX is the first device in the series to be fully integrated into the OSMOBIL Cloud. This enables mobile monitoring of important data in real time:

  • GPS position of the machine.
  • Incoming conductivity of the water on the respective construction site.
  • Outside temperature.
  • Future updates will make it possible to make settings directly via the cloud and transfer them to the device.

Sustainability through water recycling

To increase efficiency, the system has a recycling function. A special valve can be used to feed some of the concentrate containing minerals back into the inlet if the quality of the inlet water is below 400 ppm. In conjunction with the xFlow valve, water savings of up to 25 % can be achieved.

Versatility: The automatic pure water filling station

Thanks to an optional float switch, the OSMOBIL MAX can be used as a fully automatic pure water filling station. The machine fills tanks automatically and switches off when the target level is reached. If the water level drops, the filling process restarts automatically after a predefined delay of 15 minutes.

Results from the field

During the on-site test, the device showed excellent filter performance with an output value of just 4 ppm with very hard input water of approx. 602 ppm. The clean water volume was stable at around 11.3 liters per minute (approx. 700 liters per hour), which is absolutely sufficient for most high-performance applications.

Conclusion: The OSMOBIL MAX impresses with its "Made in Germany" quality, low running costs of around €1 per 1000 liters of pure water and an intelligent control system that considerably simplifies everyday work on the construction site.
