The solarBRUSH 600 rotating brush for solar panel and glass cleaning, complete with accessories, is currently the most advanced and powerful rotating brush available for PV and solar panel cleaning (and, of course, for glass cleaning as well). It comes as a complete set including: cable, rechargeable battery. backpack, control unit, wireless remote control, and splash guard.

All you need to add, if necessary, is the appropriate telescopic pole (see available models below).

The rotating system from the innovative manufacturer hyCLEANER in Gronau (also known for its solar robots) overcomes the drawbacks of previous rotating brush designs and combines the advantages of a water- and electricity-powered brush:

The solarBRUSH 600 therefore offers the low weight and minimal water consumption of a rotating electric brush, combined with an internal water and power supply system (which was previously unavailable on the market).
With up to 400 revolutions per minute, it even far surpasses current water-pressure-driven systems and offers not only directional reversal but also an adjustable speed ranging from 220 to 400 (via remote control).

With brushes in general—whether rotating or rigid—the working width is always a compromise. Here, the brush adheres to the industry standard of 600 mm, which represents a perfect balance between cleaning coverage, low weight, and low water consumption. Starting in 2027, an 800-series brush will also be available for retrofitting as needed.
With the 600 brush, practical and realistic (i.e., actually achievable) cleaning rates of over 150 square meters per hour (calculated based on an 8-hour workday, including breaks and setup times) can be easily achieved.

The system is based on a rotating brush roller driven by powerful 36-volt motors. Water consumption is comparatively very low; after all, the unit operates very effectively with as little as 200 liters of clean water per hour, and the brushes are electrically driven. Power is supplied by a 36-volt battery from hyCLEANER, which fits into an ergonomic backpack and can be worn all day. Depending on the speed, temperature, and roof pitch, the runtime per battery is at least 4 hours. In many cases, runtime of 8 hours or more is achieved. If needed, a replacement battery can be purchased and recharged in approximately 2.5 hours.

The brush already works very well with an OSMOBIL ONE X mobile osmosis system for cleaning with pure water. However, for regular use on large systems with slopes of less than 20°, we recommend an OSMOBIL PRO X for glass PV and façade cleaning or a supply of 300 liters of clean water per hour.

To do this, sections 1 and 2 are removed from the poles. The reach of the pole with the rotating brush—which is developed and manufactured in Gronau—is then reduced by approximately 3 meters compared to working with the classic, rigid brush. The brush and its gooseneck then fit perfectly into element No. 3. No additional accessories are required here. The existing internal water hose can continue to be used. The power cable is routed internally.
