Description
The LR-180-GTR slat cleaner from Cleantecs is a system powered by water (preferably pure water) that uses rotating brushes to clean sun shading slats efficiently and gently.
Using a special high-pressure gearbox, the experts at Cleantecs have managed to develop a system that is significantly lighter than power-operated slat cleaners and also generates enough torque to clean sun shading systems perfectly.
The variably adjustable gear in particular ensures that you are able to clean different types of slats at no great extra cost. To change, adjust the distance between the shafts on which the brushes sit to the desired format and install the relevant brushes, which are also available in our store.
We supply the appliance with 80 mm brushes as standard, as the "80 mm" slat format (this describes the depth) is the most common. Of course, brush sets are also available for all other common slat sizes (50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 95 mm - the latter is suitable for 90 mm and 100 mm slats).
We also recommend the Kränzle high pressure cleaner cold water Cleantecs special version for driving the appliance, which can be used for the SOLATECS. The device is connected to the water supply via normal M22 high-pressure hoses (not included in the scope of delivery!).
It is generally the best and most efficient option if you operate the LR-180-GTR directly with clean water. This makes cleaning easier, any cleaning agents are required in smaller quantities and there are fewer or no stains on the slats after the cleaning solution has dried. As the water consumption here is approx. 10 liters per minute due to the required torque according to the manufacturer, the use of a buffer tank is recommended if necessary. According to our assessment, 6-7 liters per minute are absolutely sufficient for most cleaning applications.
