The 10" pre-filter for your OSMOBIL is an important reason why our systems work without problems over many millions of liters. The filter cartridge protects your device from loose particles that are often found in the water when cleaning glass surfaces, metal façades or PV systems. These get caught in the filter's textile coating. The filter also removes some of the chlorine contained in the city water, which would be problematic for the membranes in the long term. The filter is also specially configured for the flow rate and water volume that you need to make the best possible use of your OSMOBIL. The filter usually needs to be changed after 30-50 cubic meters of water flow. The built-in traffic light on the pre-filter housing of your OSMOBIL shows you when the filter needs to be changed. If you are using an impure water source, it is possible that your filter will become discolored very quickly. You should then replace it with a new one immediately.
Tip: Please store the filters dry, at room temperature and protected from light.
