What water quality do I need for osmosis purification?

For osmosis cleaning - i.e. the cleaning of windows, solar systems and façades with pure H2O molecules, regardless of which filter system the pure water comes from - we need water qualities that are below 15 PPM or below 30 PPM, according to our more than 15 years of experience.

For windows or surfaces through which we and the customer can see, the water should have a conductance of less than 15 PPM. Whether this is 0, 2 or 15 PPM is generally not particularly relevant. Osmosis systems deliver stable values that are rarely around 0 PPM (only with very soft input water), but rather around 2-8 PPM.

Mixed bed resins deliver 0 PPM for a long time after the resin change until the conductivity rises and the resins have to be changed when they reach the 15 PPM mark (glass cleaning) or 30 PPM (solar cleaning). In our experience, even values up to 30 PPM are sufficient for solar cleaning, as the surfaces are not transparent. If you are working with a resin system, the resin can therefore be changed later for solar cleaning than for glass cleaning.
