Description
The LT 1 air dryer is used for compressed air treatment in the sandblasting sector.
In order to ensure a flawless work process, it is essential that an LT refrigeration dryer is connected upstream. If you need high-quality dry air, refrigeration dryers or compressed air dryers are crucial.
The LT 1 has the task of separating the moisture released by the compressor. In addition to dry air, the removal of humidity also protects against corrosion. The air drawn in by a compressor is a gas mixture which normally also contains water vapor. The water absorption capacity of the air varies depending on the temperature. The higher the air temperature, the greater the ability to absorb water vapor. As a result, the water must be removed from the compressed air. In a simple compressed air station, the refrigeration unit is installed between the compressor and the sandblasting unit so that the compressed air is sufficiently dried.
