Description

IBIX 5 blasting abrasive in 25 kg containers is versatile. It is often used to remove graffiti, efflorescence and soiling from a wide variety of surfaces (natural stone, artificial stone, concrete, plastic). It is also used for matting stainless steel and aluminum surfaces, as well as real glass. IBIX abrasive 5 can be used to remove rust from sheet metal. This abrasive is also used for glazed teak furniture, steps and oiled or glazed antique furniture. The blasting material is also used for textiles. It can clean suede and blast lettering into denim fabrics.

The environmentally friendly blasting media from IBIX are suitable for any surface treatment. These blasting abrasives lead to a 50 - 100 % faster success than e.g. slag and thus limit the costs immensely. The smaller grain sizes and low blasting pressure enable 2/3 less consumption than conventional blasting material.

Both the environment and the workplace are not polluted, as this is a chemically inactive, non-metallic material. It is ferrite-free, non-radioactive, non-recycled and also low in dust. All these fundamentals and the low consumption minimize the disposal costs considerably. IBIX blasting materials fall below the legally stipulated maximum values for silicogens, toxic and carcinogenic components. The low-pressure blasting drastically reduces noise pollution.

In view of the very hard and splinter-resistant blasting abrasive (7.5 - 8 Mohs) in conjunction with the high specific weight (2.3), virtually dust-free blasting is possible. An optimum roughness depth can therefore be achieved. Multiple reusability is possible due to the splinter resistance.

In keeping with the motto "quality meets sustainability", the packaging optimally protects the blasting material from environmental influences and can be reused in many ways once completely emptied. The buckets are handy, easy to carry and can be stacked very easily.
