Description

IBIX 6 blasting agent in 25 kg containers is used to remove soiling, efflorescence and graffiti on clinker. It is also used for soiling on terracotta surfaces. Graffiti can be easily removed from exposed concrete, for example. This blasting material can also be used on glazed steps, teak furniture and oiled or glazed antique furniture. Another application, similar to IBIX abrasive 5, is the matting of real glass and the cleaning of suede as well as blasted lettering in denim fabrics.

The environmentally friendly blasting media from IBIX are suitable for any surface treatment. These blasting media lead to a 50 - 100 % faster success than e.g. slag and thus minimize the costs immensely. Smaller grain sizes and a low blasting pressure enable 2/3 less consumption than conventional blasting material.

As it is a chemically inactive, non-metallic material, neither the workplace nor the environment are heavily polluted. It is also low-dust, ferrite-free, non-radioactive and non-recyclable. The disposal costs are significantly reduced due to all these factors and the low consumption. As IBIX blasting media are non-toxic, they fall below the legally stipulated maximum values for silicogens, toxic and carcinogenic components. The low-pressure blasting drastically reduces the noise level.

In view of the very hard and splinter-resistant blasting abrasive (7.5 - 8 Mohs) in combination with the high specific weight (2.3), virtually dust-free blasting is possible. An optimum roughness depth can therefore be achieved. The chipping resistance enables multiple reusability.

In keeping with the motto "quality meets sustainability", the packaging optimally protects the blasting material from environmental influences and can be reused in a variety of ways once completely emptied. The buckets are handy, easy to carry and can be stacked very easily.
