Description
The IBIX 25 Helix Start is a blasting device with extremely fine adjustment options in the fine range and an absolutely even material flow.
You can use the device to remove specific layers of dirt without removing the original surface. This is achieved thanks to the working parameters, such as working pressure, abrasive quantity, size and type of nozzles as well as the distance between the nozzle and the surface.
This is exactly how it works: the abrasive is set in rotation by a special tungsten carbide eddy current nozzle with a Venturi profile. Work on profiled surfaces is facilitated by a wider blasting cone. Further overblasting of already cleaned surfaces is minimized and guarantees perfect protection of the substrate. In addition, the required air consumption is significantly reduced while at the same time saving on blasting material.
The Helix system was specially developed for restoration work and is ideal for treating wood and very delicate surfaces.
Attention: This blasting unit is not suitable for processing bi-carbonate!
