GARDINER Standard HD extension no. 10

Description

GARDINER Standard HD Extension No. 10, by purchasing additional elements, the telescopic poles of the GARDINER brand can generally be extended within an assembly. The Standard Extension HD, which is primarily designed for the GARDINER XTREME telescopic pole, plays an exceptional and special role.

Although it fits on every GARDINER Pole element "No. 9" - regardless of the assembly (i.e. for SLX, SUPER MAX & XTREME) - it is intended for the GARDINER XTREME. This extension provides a reach of up to 25.10 meters in height. Accordingly, when using the extension with the XTREME 47 telescopic pole, up to 6 of these extensions can be stacked on top of each other.
Due to the immense forces that are exerted on the material during this application, the use of 6 elements is only permitted for the GARDINER XTREME series. The same applies to all other poles as for the SD extension: a maximum of 3 units may be placed on top of each other. On request, we can explain the procedure to you again by telephone.

These extensions are not "telescoped on", but "plugged on" and removed again after use (while the telescopic extensions can remain on the respective pole).
This has the great advantage that the respective handpiece no longer becomes thicker. The diameter of this element is approx. 49 mm and therefore just within the manageable range. The small disadvantage of the "plugging process" is that the telescopic pole hose has to be routed externally, but we think this is acceptable in view of the advantages. Other, fully telescopic poles usually have diameters of 55 mm or more from a pole length of over 15 meters. These can then no longer really be held.
In addition, the GARDINER extensions benefit from one of the other few advantages of the plug-in technology: namely the slightly better stability compared to telescopic poles (where each element logically has a different, and therefore decreasing, diameter).
