ABS lanyard - lanyard 10 meters: This high-quality fall arrester should not be missing from your personal fall protection equipment (PPE). It is the essential link between the respective fall protection system and the harness to be worn on the body.

ABS Safety's traveling fall arrester including movable guide (in accordance with DIN EN 353-2 and DIN EN 358) is based on a robust, durable kernmantel rope, a manually operated rope shortener and a high-quality energy absorber.Lanyards of the type "ABS Lanyard - assisted fall arrester" are available in different rope lengths (5, 10, 15 and 23 m) and can be used by persons with a total weight of 140 kg (including clothing and equipment). The kernmantle rope (Ø 12 mm) of the typical red lanyard is, of course, sharp-edge tested.

Attach the carabiner hook of the guide rope to the anchorage point of the respective fall prevention device: the ABS lanyard is suitable for use on the anchorage point or roof hook, on the rope of a lifeline system or on the anchorage eye of a glider that travels over the curves and intermediate supports of a rope or rail lifeline system.

With the ABS Lanyard's rope shortener, you can adjust the lanyard optimally so that it is as taut as possible: shortened to a restraint, the lanyard prevents an unintentional misstep over the fall edge or onto components that are not breakthrough-proof. If a fall does occur, the rope shortener locks in place - the fall arrester catches the secured person and protects them from a dangerous impact if the rope is shortened correctly. The textile shock absorber reduces the forces that occur to a maximum of less than 6 kN.
