Description

ABS Lanyard - temporary lanyard is suitable for temporary and horizontal use on flat and steep roofs. This system consists of a kernmantle rope and is significantly lighter, more space-saving and easier to use than conventional products that use polyamide ropes.

Another advantage of this system is wear and tear. Due to the kernmantle rope, it is considerably more stable and resistant to wear than conventional slinging devices. It absorbs significantly less moisture and is therefore more weather-resistant. This lifeline system is approved for a maximum distance between supports of 21 meters. A kernmantel rope expands less than conventional ropes in the event of a fall and therefore reduces the fall distance. Up to 4 people can be secured at the same time.

At one end of the kernmantle rope there is a snap hook with screw lock for simple and secure attachment to anchor points. At the other end of the rope there is a rope clamp as a tensioning element. The lanyard has freely movable snap hooks so that it can be attached to intermediate supports.

The ABS lanyard is also ideal for use as a restraint system, providing the user with a high level of safety. The range of movement is deliberately restricted and a fall must be prevented in this area (see Fig. 2 + 3).

It is available in lengths of 15, 23 and 30 m.

Note on handling PPE & Co.: We are also happy to advise you as our customer on the subject of PPE, anchor points etc. However, our advice here only relates to the technical properties and functions of the respective product. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any information on the actual procedure for using the products and the evaluation of relevant work situations, possible accidents and the creation of risk assessments. We strongly recommend that you attend a course on PPE and occupational safety at your local employers' liability insurance association.
