Description

IBIX 3 blasting abrasive in 25 kg containers is mainly used to remove varnish and paint from wood. Similar to IBIX abrasive 2, this abrasive can be used to roughen aluminum. Due to the gentle blasting, the antifouling coating on GRP boats can be removed without any problems. It can also be used to roughen marble and granite and achieve an anti-slip effect.

The manufacturer promises an environmentally friendly blasting material that is suitable for all surface treatments. The blasting material from IBIX leads to a 50 - 100 % faster success than e.g. slag and thus minimizes the costs immensely. A low blasting pressure and smaller grain sizes allow a 2/3 lower consumption than conventional blasting materials.

Neither the environment nor the workplace are polluted, as this is a chemically inactive, non-metallic material. It is non-radioactive, ferrite-free, non-recycled and also low in dust. All these aspects and the low consumption minimize the disposal costs considerably. Due to their non-toxicity, IBIX blasting abrasives fall below the legally defined maximum values for silicogens, toxic and carcinogenic components. The low-pressure blasting drastically reduces the noise level.

The very hard and splinter-resistant blasting abrasive (7.5 - 8 Mohs) in combination with the high specific weight (2.3) enables almost dust-free blasting, thus achieving an optimum roughness depth. The chipping resistance enables multiple reusability.

In keeping with the motto "quality meets sustainability", the packaging optimally protects the blasting material from environmental influences and can be reused in a variety of ways once completely emptied. The buckets are handy, easy to carry and can be stacked very easily.
